St. Thomas

Adventures in St. Thomas brought me so much joy! My family and I were able to escape the ice cold weather back in our home state, and travel to a safe, warm, friendly, and beautiful island.

At the start of our morning, we took a lift up to Paradise Point, which had many gorgeous views of the island. During our trip, there were many cruise ships coming in with loads of tourists exploring the island-this got very difficult as many people rushed on to the island and places got very busy! We had to wait about 30-40 minutes to get a seat in a restaurant, and waited almost over 2 hours for the food to be prepared. Despite a rough start, my family and I still enjoyed the breathtaking environment of St. Thomas.

After have a drink of piña colada on the hilltop, we used the lift to travel back down. We visited a pirate museum and explored the history of pirates. The museum had many prize possessions including old gold coins, silver, antiques, and more that were all found at the bottom of the sea near a sunken ship.

Next day, we decided to explore the Coral Ocean Park. The underwater life was always so stunning to me, and we even got a chance to go into an underwater room to see many kinds of fish and sea-animals swimming around in their environment. There was an opportunity to even swim with dolphins and sea lions! We got to see stingrays, sea turtles, pet the starfish, and enjoy the outdoor breeze.

Later in the week, we took a fairy to St. John! It took about 30 minutes to get there. Saltwater was splashing everywhere and it got a bit chaotic...but it was worth it! We felt the nice cool air and saw many different islands on the way. I had never seen such a beautiful ocean! Once we arrived in St. John, we visited Honeymoon Beach and enjoyed the sandy area while sitting back, and relaxing with a great view of the ocean.

My family and I ended our last day in

St. Thomas with a special meal back on top of Paradise Point. The island at night looked stunning and really shone bright!
