Georgia
Savannah
During the winter, my family and I drove to Savannah, Georgia! Although sunny, it was still a bit chilly, but we made the best out of our three days there. One of the iconic things about Georgia is the Spanish Moss that grows on the trees which is such a lovely sight. Despite to mention, I loved Georgia's Southern food, including their grits which is something I rarely have in the North.
Forsyth Park...
Forsyth Park is such a relaxing and vast space. One of the reasons why this park is so famous is the beauty of the fountain which is a perfect place for picture taking. It is simply just pleasant to sit on a bench under the gorgeous trees or take a stroll around the garden. There is also a lot of local art that is sold and a wide field beyond the fountain.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist
This Roman Catholic cathedral was stunning to walk into! Because it was near the holidays, the cathedral set up a storyline of Jesus Christ for people to walk by and view as you can see in the top right picture. Everything was so detailed and admirable. I would definitely recommend researching more about this cathedral and its history.
Savannah Bee Company
The Savannah Bee Company was definitely my mothers highlight while walking around River Street Market. An abundant amount of tasty honey lined the shelves for people to taste and buy. In addition, there were other sweet products aside from the exclusive honeys including body products and more.

Tybee Island...
After a lot of driving, we spent some time to relax on Tybee Island, stroll around on the dock, and play with the sand. It was sunny, the breeze felt nice, and the space was super grand.
Wormsloe State Historic Site...
The second you drive into this site, you are surrounded by nature and trees that welcome you in. It was such a surreal experience driving through the site with majestic and ancient oak trees that canopied over us. It is the perfect place for nature walks and has so much history.

Our time here was short, but I had a blast! The trip was full of walks, nature, and history. It felt super calming all throughout, and I simply just enjoyed strolling around the city, doing a lot of shopping, and taking in the sunny and gorgeous weather.
